Making love can be learned

Making love can be learned: In our everyday lives we are bombarded by sexual imagery but for our own personal sexuality it is often difficult to find appropriate language. The documentary series "MAKE LOVE – Liebe machen kann man lernen“ from MDR and SWR attempts to break this silence. Created by gebrueder beetz Filmproduktion, the film creates a unique, interesting and emotionally real world that is truly relevant and easy to identify with.

The website www.make-love.de complements the TV format with additional content and allows a playfully intuitive exploration of the world of MAKE LOVE. The start page unites content such as the TV show, audio and text entries, images, blog videos and Facebook posts in one mashup.
All content is sorted hierarchically by creation date to make sure the material is current and it is presented to users in an innovative form that can be accessed by means of a variety of filtering and sorting methods. In addition to editorial content, the site offers film and audio entries that are integrated using social media players (Vimeo and Soundcloud). Using semantic categorization, new content on related themes is always being loaded allowing the user a comfortable way of navigating the site. An accompanying tagcloud as main navigation provides easy access to the content while a search function makes it easy to find specific material.

To offer protection for minors, various film and text entries are only available between 10pm and 6am. SIRUP led the conception, design and technical implementation of the web special. The documentary received a lot of positive press and the traffic at www-make-love.de exceeded all expectations in the first few days.
