The new website from Robert Brembeck presents his multi-layered work in the best format possible. To allow the images to have maximum impact, navigation and other functional elements disappear when the user's mouse is inactive. Transparent and compact buttons ensure simple and quick navigation through the photographer's portfolio. Users can also choose to click through his work using their keyboard.
In order to make Brembeck's portfolio accessible to iPhone users, an optimized version was developed with minimal load times and a modified navigation concept to encourage quick browsing. Each photo can be shared with one click through an integrated Facebook 'share' function. This mobile version is fed automatically with compressed images from the CMS. This means the site is ready for the iPhone without any additional work.
A CMS specially tailored to the photographer's needs offers comfortable management of the comprehensive image content through drag and drop functionality. Editing features such as compression and cropping are available directly through the system. In addition to easy updates and management of the site's content, the CMS offers another special feature: each image is watermarked on the server side so that photos can be used by prospective licensors for mocking up layouts.
